My Stirrup Bumpers are designed to keep your saddle protected form mud, scratches and pressure marks from your stirrups when you run them up after riding. They are perfect for use whilst lunging as well stopping the irons from banging against your saddle.
They are super easy to put on and take off...they just wrap around the tread of your stirrup.
I make them myself from soft polar fleece with a Velcro closure and a foam core.
I make them in both a standard stirrup size and a larger size for the wider tread stirrups.
Also suitable for Western, Stock or Fender saddles using the Ox Bow style Stirrups.
We personally use them on our Fender saddle to avoid bruises to our legs when carrying the saddle and also protects our car from the stirrups banging against the sides when placing the saddle in the back.
Completely washable by hand only.
